Cool off at the SoBe Ice Arena at Fiesta Rancho
This summer, the SoBe Ice Arena is inviting guests to come out and enjoy the venue’s freezing temperatures while things are heating up outside.
The ice skating rink at Fiesta Rancho is open for public skating sessions from 2:30-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. For $7, those looking to get active in the cool air can skate for three hours, including skate rentals. The SoBe arena, at 31,000 square feet, is NHL-regulation size, and offers an arcade, snack bar and two private party rooms.
For those looking for evening fun, SoBe hosts a Cosmic Skate with DJ Herrera for $10 each Friday and Saturday from 7-10 p.m.
The SoBe Ice Arena is home to several youth and adult hockey leagues, including an adult men’s league on Wednesday evenings. Skate School is offered throughout the year for all levels of ability, for ages 3 and up. Skate School runs from 5:45-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday and from noon to 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. The group lessons include four passes to the public skates and skate rental during the classes. Cost is $70 per month, with the first month 20 percent off.
