Country Legend Mickey Gilley Performs at Treasure Island Las Vegas

The original Urban Cowboy, Mickey Gilley, began performing in Houston nightclubs before scoring a string of No. 1 hits during the mid 70’s with “Room Full of Roses,” “I Overlooked an Orchid,” “City Lights,” Window Up Above,” “Don’t The Girls All Get Prettier At Closing Time” and “Bring It On Home To Me.” Gilley guest-starred on numerous television series, including Murder She Wrote, The Fall Guy, Fantasy Island and Dukes of Hazzard.

Treasure Island is home to his namesake, Gilley’s Saloon, Dance Hall & BBQ, paying homage to the very successful Gilley’s Club in Pasadena, Texas, which was known as the “world’s largest honky-tonk.”
