Cracker to Perform at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas August 20
Cracker
, the American rock band from Redlands, California, has been called everything from alt-rock Americana to punk to insurgent-country. But more importantly for their fans, Cracker has staying power.

Cofounders David Lowery and Johnny Hickman have been releasing music for more than two decades. Their breadth of Cracker’s musical style may be best embodied in their 2014 double release “Berkeley To Bakersfield.”

“On the Berkeley disc, the band is the original Cracker lineup,” said Lowery. “This is the first time this lineup has recorded together in almost 20 years. We chose to stylistically focus this disc on the music we most associate with the East Bay. The Bakersfield disc represents the ‘California country’ side of the band.”

Cracker is perhaps most well known for early radio hits from 1993’s “Kerosene Hat,” including “Low” and “Euro-Trash Girl.”

Cracker at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is for ages 18 and up. General admission tickets start at $22 (plus applicable service fees) and are on sale to the public on Friday, July 21, at 10 a.m. PT at the Brooklyn Bowl box office, by calling 877.987.6487 or online at http://www.brooklynbowl.com/event/1525921-cracker-las-vegas/.
