CRUSH Eat, Drink, Love to Ring in the New Year with Over-The-Top Feast
CRUSH eat, drink, love at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino will celebrate New Year’s Eve with an extravagant feast prepared by Executive Chef Billy DeMarco on Wednesday, Dec. 31 (Pictured: Tuna Crudo Salad – Photo credit: Jim Decker).
CRUSH will offer diners the choice between a four-course menu priced at $95 per person available from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., or a five-course dinner priced at $125 per person served from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. CRUSH also will offer an optional wine pairing for an additional $45, or a specialty pairing hand-selected by one of CRUSH’s sommeliers for $85.
The menu will begin with a Tuna Crudo Salad topped with winter truffles, porcini foam and covered in Banyuls vinaigrette, complemented by a glass of 2012 Heidler Grüner Vetliner. The second course will include Tagliatini Pasta made with roasted pumpkin, braised lamb and topped with a crispy poached egg, with a glass of 2011 Van Duzer pinot noir.
Diners choosing the five-course dinner will be served a third course featuring a Lobster Pot Pie made with poached lobster tail, winter vegetables and caviar butter, paired with a glass of 2011 Mendel malbec. The main course will include a Wagyu Beef Filet made with crab ravioli, agrodolce shallots and covered in a bordelaise sauce, with a glass of 2012 Textbook cabernet sauvignon. Both menus will conclude with a decadent dessert tasting, with the option to pair with a glass of 2013 Elvio Tintero Moscato D’Asti Sori Gramella.
CRUSH, eat, drink, love is a 7,000-square-foot restaurant serving a cosmopolitan share-plate style menu with large and small plate dishes prepared by Executive Chef Billy DeMarco. Located inside MGM Grand, CRUSH is open daily for dinner, starting at 5:30 p.m.
