'Da Vinci – The Genius' Thanks Veterans with $10 Off Admission Throughout Month of November
As a thank you to those who have served in the armed forces, Da Vinci – The Genius, the unparalleled look into the mind of Leonardo da Vinci in the Imagine Exhibitions Gallery at The Venetian, will be offering $10 off admission and 10% off retail and photos to all veterans with valid military ID for the rest of November.

da Vinci himself shares a connection with today’s veterans, as he was a commissioned military engineer during a time of war. His early inventions included emergency swing bridges, artillery, gun carriages, catapults, giant cross-bows, wheel mounted scythes, armored cars and more. Guests can view these incredible inventions, as well as more than 200 other unique pieces and 75 life-size machine inventions, throughout the 13 themed areas of Da Vinci – The Genius.

Along with the military engineering exhibit, veterans can immerse themselves in da Vinci’s timeless brilliance through unparalleled studies of his iconic art and in-depth looks into his incredible works. Other highlights of the exhibition include an exploration of a brand new da Vinci discovery and his only known sculpture surviving today, “Horse & Rider;” an eye-opening, in-depth analysis of his most famous piece, “Mona Lisa;” and three-dimensional renderings of da Vinci’s most notable Renaissance works.

Da Vinci – The Genius’ limited engagement runs through January 27, 2013 and is open daily to the public from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. Tickets prices are as follows: $25 for general admission; $23 for seniors 65 and older; $20 for Nevada residents; and $17 for students with a valid ID. Tickets can be purchased at The Venetian box office or on its website.
