Daze Work
will be performing at the Freakin’ Frog every Friday at 10 pm. All shows are free.

Daze Work is a very eclectic group of musicians who hail from different regions of the U.S. They were formed in 2002 by Stan DeMand in Los Angeles. Originally, their sound consisted of instrumental Smooth Jazz with a tinge of Funk.

Their debut CD “Midnight Oil” was released in 2005 and became a commercial success gaining the group critical acclaim worldwide. The band briefly toured the U.S. and the members decided to pursue solo projects. In 2010, DeMand decided to create a new Daze Work. By then he had relocated to Las Vegas and recruited his cousin Petey Traxx to sing vocals.

For their sophomore project DeMand wanted to have more of a Neo-Soul Funk sound with a taste of Jazz. He met Tony Tunes whom introduced him to Trey Falls. DeMand brought in Saul Bridges, a local fixture that he had seen perform in clubs on numerous occasions. This became the nucleus of what is now known as Daze Work. In 2010 their first single “You Just Don’t Know” hit #1 on Indie’s CD Baby’s Soul-Jazz chart. Their second single “Mamasita Mi Amour” also peaked at #2 on CD Baby’s Latin Jazz chart. Their full CD “Time Out Of Mind” is due for an April 2011 release.

The Daze Work band members are Petey Traxx (Vocals) Tony Tunes (Bass & Guitars) Saul Bridges (Guitar, Vocals) Trey Falls (Drums, Percussion, Vocals) Stan DeMand (Keyboards, Guitars, Bass, Percussion & Vocals).
