Dead & Company Coming to MGM Grand Garden Arena Saturday, May 27, 2017
Dead & Company will kick off its 2017 summer tour at the MGM Grand Garden Arena Saturday, May 27, 2017.
The returning Dead & Company band, which includes Grateful Dead members Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir; singer/guitarist John Mayer; Allman Brothers’ bassist Oteil Burbridge; and “Fare Thee Well” and RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, will perform two sets of music drawing from the Dead’s historic catalog of songs.
In October of 2015 the band took to the stage for their inaugural nationwide tour, opening with three sold-out concerts at New York’s legendary Madison Square Garden and ending the year with two sold-out performances at the Fabulous Forum in Inglewood, California. The group continued their tour in 2016 with multiple night stands at some of the nation’s largest venues, including six stadium dates. Fans and music critics alike hailed the tour:
