Declare Your Freedom to Gobble This Thanksgiving at Freedom Beat at Downtown Grand Las Vegas Hotel & Casino
It’s the one day a year when eating savory turkey with all the fixings until you need to undo that top button of your pants is not only accepted, it’s also widely encouraged – no guilt, no shame. It’s in that spirit that Freedom Beat inside the Downtown Grand invites guests to declare their Freedom to Gobble (Pictured: Smoked Turkey Leg at Freedom Beat).
On Thanksgiving, Freedom Beat is offering its Freedom to Gobble dinner beginning a 11 a.m. for just $20 per person. The complete meal includes a choice of Smoked Turkey Leg or Sage and Herb Marinated Turkey Breast and comes with traditional dressing, roasted sweet potato, sautéed green beans, whipped garlic mashed potatoes and plenty of gravy and cranberry sauce. A cast-iron pumpkin pie for dessert and one draft beer is also included.
Even more, for those who think turkey is even better the next day, Freedom Beat offers a variety of Leftover Specials including the Ultimate Turkey Sandwich served on toasted wheat with sliced turkey, momma’s stuffing, cranberries and a side of gravy for $10. Served in cast iron and topped with buttery pastry and potatoes, enjoy a flavorful Turkey Pot Pie or a House-Smoked Turkey Leg served with mashed potatoes and gravy, each for $12.
November cocktails at Freedom Beat will feature two spiced bourbon favorites. At just $8, Grate of Spices pairs Wild Turkey with grates of cinnamon and a peach puree, topped with whipped cream; while Mai-Holiday combines that same Wild Turkey flavor with orgeat syrup, fresh lemon juice, and orange zest for just $10.
Known as the definitive downtown dining experience, celebrate Thanksgiving with an impressive four-course dinner at Triple George Grill. The $60 per person prix fixed menu is available on November 23 from 3 p.m. – 11 p.m. and begins with an appetizer choice of Deviled Eggs with smoked bacon and microgreens or Baked Artichoke with parmesan breadcrumbs and shallot aioli. Second, enjoy a choice of Butternut Squash soup or Seasonal Mixed Greens with candied walnuts, cranberries and a maple vinaigrette. For the main course, choose either Herb Crusted Prime Rib with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables or Roasted Turkey Breast with pan gravy, herb stuffing, cranberry chutney and green beans. Top it all off with either Warm Apple Pie or Pumpkin Cheesecake.
Specialty Thanksgiving cocktails at Triple George Grill include the festive Pumpkin Pie Martini featuring RumChata, vanilla vodka, pumpkin liqueur, cinnamon and a graham cracker rim or indulge in a Sparkling Cranberry with champagne, cranberry juice and fresh lime, each for $12.
