“Dizzy with a Dame” Merges Old and New in Seductive Cabaret September 28 at The Space in Las Vegas
Girl Boss Productions and MarShun Entertainment will present Dizzy with a Dame September 28 inside The Back Space, an intimate blackbox style theater located within The Space. The incredible menagerie of dancers, singers and performers enchant the stage in a tantalizing night of tease (Pictured: Dancer/Acrobat Kenny Harlow).
The Dizzy cast will use their keen talents to both mesmerize and entertain audiences with true cabaret style song and dance in this nostalgic blend of sexy hits inside one of the newest back rooms in town!
THE CAST:
Kenny Harlow is a dancer, acrobat and all around entertainer hailing from Seattle, WA and now calling Los Angeles home. Stage credits: Toni Braxton: Revealed, Reverie Tunes west cost tour with The Lucent Dossier Experience, the Latin Grammies, Coachella and more. Film credits: Stomp The Yard, Today’s The Day, Bring It On: Fight to the Finish. Kenny is a long-time friend of Girl Boss Productions and is grateful to be included in this exciting project.
Actress/Dancer Patricia Possollo
Patricia Possollo is a native of Brazil, raised in England and now bringing music to life as a singer and songwriter in Los Angeles, CA. While music is her heartbeat, her body of work also encompasses acting, dance and acro. She has worked and performed on five continents including vocals for G.O.O.D. Music and Motown, acrobatic performance for the prince of Dubai and multiple appearances in commercial and film. She is so excited to be performing in Las Vegas for the first time.
Duo Ronin perform old time strongman style feats of strength and balance
Duo Ronin started working together in March of 2012. This bearded duo includes: Chris (flyer) – formerly of cirque du soleil’ wintuk and Blake (base) – formerly of Franco dragone’s Le Reve. This duo adopts the old time strongman style and has taken their bowler hat’s and curly mustaches far and wide performing incredible feats of strength and balance. (They take lumbersexual to a whole new level) ” You’re not going to want to miss this!
Born and raised in the Hawaiian Islands, Jessie Ohera-Aweau is a 26 year old professional dancer who now resides in Las Vegas. Over the last 5 years, she has performed and choreographed for some of the biggest names in Electronic music; such as Calvin Harris, Aoki, Hardwell, Zedd, and Lil John. She has toured the country with multiple productions companies including Legends in Concert, Brown Productions, & GirlBoss Productions. Traveling to places all over the globe including China, Singapore, Canada, Tahiti & over 15 states in the U.S! She is currently dance captain at Hakkasan nightclub in the MGM grand and has danced in over 80% of the Las Vegas strips most renowned nightclubs.
Brandy Leviner, originally from the small town of Bennettsville, South Carolina started dancing at the young age of 7. She grew up competing & and then went on to teach and choreograph right out of high school. Her first professional dance move was to the high seas with Holland America Line where she got to do what she loved most while traveling the world. She then called Myrtle Beach, SC home for 5 years right after, performing nightly at The Carolina Opry. Right after making the move to Las Vegas in 2015, she became apart of the cast of Pin Up at the Stratosphere. She is currently a dancer in David Saxe’s Vegas! The Show at Planet Hollywood.”
Elaine, the crazy dog lady, was last seen dancing on the strip in Sexxy. Prior to that, she moved to Vegas from L.A., (where she had worked with Pink, TwentyOne Pilots, Daddy Yankee, and Wisin to name a few), to dance in GirlBoss Productions first show, Dreamgirls. Now freelancing, Elaine has been traveling, performing, choreographing, teaching dance and Barre classes, and creating the Live In Love Movement Experience.
Miki Catherine is a professional dancer with dance experience for over 10 years. She grew up in Las Vegas performing and choreographing for several teams in schools and local dance crews such as the UNLV Rebel Girls, Meccamee, and Cultureshock Las Vegas. She has been a part of several shows in Las Vegas such as MJ Live, Dirk Arther, Superstars on Stage, Vegas! The Show, and Matt Goss Residency Show. She has worked with choreographer Brian Freedman and has worked on televised shows such as the Latin Grammy, BET Players Awards, and the Prime Time Show with James Corden. She currently directs her own group The Vegas Gems as she continues to pursue her dance career in Los Angeles.
Tina Cookson has been a professional dancer for over 10 years with experience dancing for several artists, commercials, TV shows, burlesque groups, and entertainment companies. Some of her attributes include performances with Kanye West, JLo, Maroon 5, Snoop Dogg, Machine Gun Kelly, has appeared on VH1’s Hit The Floor, and participated in commercial work for Zumba Fitness, Mattel , Harley Davidson, Sephora and MAC Cosmetics. Tina is also a member of the world-renowned synchronized swimming group Aqualillies. Tina’s passion for her art is apparent every time she steps on a stage.
Sheila Joy Buford has been dancing since the age of five. Attending Alexander Drefoo’s Jr. School of the Arts High School in Palm Beach Florida, Sheila Is trained in ballet, modern, jazz, tap, and acrobatics. Sheila has been honored to dance with Whitney Houston, George Micheal, Gloria Gainer, Kid Rock, Maya, Usher and Michael Jackson for his 30th Anniversary Special at Madison Square Garden. Sheila’s burlesque career flourished when she was hired as one of Ivan Kane’s 40 deuce dancers. For the past six years Sheila has been Criss Angel’s magic assistant in “Believe” with Cirque Du Soleil as well as a Las Vegas Pussy Cat Doll created by Robin Anton. Sheila is now a back up dancer and aerialist for Cher’s Classic Tour.
Nadia Albulet was born in Florida into an entertainment family. Being from the circus, her family traveled around the country until they settled in the entertainment capital of the world. Nadia landed her first professional gig at 16 as an acro dancer in Les Folies Bergere. By 2004, she joined the cast of “Bravo” starring Charo and continued to perform with her around the United States until 2014. In between tours, Nadia has worked as a dancer and singer in a variety of different shows on the Strip. Some of these shows include American Superstars, Steve Wyrick, The King with Trent Carlini, Sin City Heat, Dian Diaz Band, and Matt Goss. From 2012-2014, she was hired on as a tap soloist in Pin Up, which was voted “Best Showgirls 2013” by Best of Las Vegas. Nadia’s career has taken her many places including Japan, Saipan, China, Switzerland, North America, and Qatar. Nadia is currently performing in “Donny and Marie” at the Flamingo Las Vegas.
Carlynn Mazon was born and raised in Las Vegas. She started her first show on the Las Vegas Strip at the age of 16 as an Acro Dancer in the Folies Bergere at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino. Carlynn then traveled the world for 10 years with Carnival Cruise Lines. Since she has returned to her hometown of Las Vegas she has performed in shows such as Pin Up, Dreamgirls, ICandy Burlesque, Lime Light. Dancing Queen and many more! Anthony Russo landed his first professional gig at 15 in the Equity Ensemble of “Anything Goes” (The Muny-St Louis, MO 1999). At 17, he was hired for the 6th National Tour of Dein Perry’s “Tap Dogs” and went on to perform all 6 roles in the show throughout North America, Europe, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Australia, and China. (2001-2015) Between tours, Russo has been involved in the creation and performance of Cirque Du Soleil’s “Banana Shpeel” in Chicago/NYC (2009-2010), Rasta Thomas’ “Tap Stars” in Hamburg, Germany (2011), and Noah Racey’s “PULSE” in Sarasota, FL (2012). In 2005, Anthony produced his first tap intensive, “TAPademics”, and continues to host the workshop at his family’s dance studio in St Charles, MO. Anthony is currently based in Las Vegas, NV.
