With a spirit that’s both untamed and inviting, Double Barrel will showcase high-energy live music and entertainment, an array of craft cocktails and beers and a Southern-inspired menu in a 12,000 square foot, indoor-outdoor space envisioned by award-winning designer Mark Zeff.

“We’ve had incredible collaboration with Monte Carlo and the MGM Resorts team to develop a space and an experience that channels the attitude of a true roadhouse experience defined by great music, great food and high energy live entertainment,” said Mio Danilovic Vice President of Nightlife Operations, sbe.

Patrick Miller, Monte Carlo’s General Manager, said, “We announced last year that we were reimagining the front of our resort to give visitors new offerings in an engaging environment. We couldn’t be more excited to open the first of those outlets in partnership with the experienced operators at sbe. Double Barrel is designed to provide the quintessential fun Vegas experience and we know it will deliver.”

The Double Barrel menu was created by newly named Executive Chef Michael Vitangeli and is intended to showcase big flavors with an unmistakable Southern influence. Freshly crafted American classics like Crispy Smokey Chicken Wings, Mini Corn Dogs, Corn Chowder and Crispy Meatloaf served with sweet bacon-laced Ketchup highlight the menu along with house specialties including Not Your Mama’s Chicken Pot Pie and New Orleans Shrimp & Grits. An oversized wood burning grill is used to create dishes such as the 24 oz. Cowboy Steak and the slow cooked Crackling Pork Shank brushed with a bourbon glaze.

The dessert menu will include indulgent options such as Pie in a Jar, a generous slice served in a Mason jar a la mode, and Deep Fried S’mores, a graham cracker sandwich filled with marshmallow and chocolate, and battered, deep fried and dusted with powdered sugar.

For the beverage and cocktail programming Double Barrel has composed a wide array of cocktails, wine and craft beers reminiscent of roadhouse culture. Signature drinks will include the Kiwi Collins, and the Double Barrel Spiked Ice Tea (a fun spin on a traditional Long Island Iced Tea). Double Barrel will also serve up handcrafted, homemade wine coolers made on site and presented in Mason jars. Approachable bottle service experiences will be available at tables throughout the space.

Double Barrel will feature live music and an interactive staff that both entertains and engages patrons. From custom “bar rituals” and live performances on the elevated catwalks surrounding the bars, to the venue’s lively “DB girls,” every interaction between Double Barrel and its patrons is focused on creating more energy and more fun.

Double Barrel Roadhouse officially opens on Friday, March 7, 2014 and will begin taking reservations for Saturday, March 8, 2014. Click here to book now!
