Two time Grammy Award winner, Dwight Yoakam will perform at Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel at the Eastside Event Center on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 9 p.m.  

With hits that include: “Honky Tonk Man,” “Please Please Baby” and “I Sang Dixie” Dwight Yoakam promises to be a boot scootin’ good time.

Dwight Yoakam has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide and has 12 gold albums and nine platinum albums.  Including, the widely acclaimed triple platinum album “This Time.”  He has had five albums top the Billboard’s Country Albums chart and seven of his albums have been in the Top 10.  With hits including “It Only Hurts When I Cry,” “Honky Tonk Man” and “Thousand Miles from Nowhere” he has managed to have more than 30 singles charted and eighteen hits on the Top 20.  Dwight Yoakam is a two time Grammy Award winner and has been nominated for the Grammy’s an astonishing 21 times.
 
Dwight Yoakam is not only a musician but a phenomenal actor as well.  He has been seen in a variety of films including: Red Rock West and the Academy Award winning Sling Blade where he played the villainous Doyle Hargraves.
