Eastside Cannery Building to “Light It Up Blue” in Support of Autism Awareness
The Eastside Cannery’s unique architecture and iconic saw tooth roofline will be even more visible during the nighttime hours of Friday and Saturday, April 1st and 2nd. That’s because the building will be illuminated a bright blue.
Eastside Cannery Building to “Light It Up Blue” In Support of Autism Awareness
Along with hundreds of other buildings and households nationwide who have chosen to take part, the Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel will be going blue to help bring awareness of autism.
The goal of Autism Speaks’ Light It Up Blue event is to increase awareness of the disease that affects 1 in every 110 children. Autism Speaks is dedicated to funding global biomedical research into the causes, prevention, treatment and cure for autism.
As the newest property on the Boulder Highway and a big supporter of the community at large through financial and in-kind donations, the Eastside Cannery will be glowing blue thanks to more than16,000 LED lights that line the building–all 16 floors!
