Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel Presents Sammy Shore’s Legends of Comedy

Feel free to laugh it up. Sammy Shore’s Legends of Comedy is coming to the Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel for FREE performances in April and May.

Shore is a comedy legend. He founded the Comedy Store on the Sunset Strip and was hand picked to be Elvis’ opening act during Presley’s comeback tour in Las Vegas in the 1970’s. Since that time he’s written a book, “The Man Who Made Elvis Laugh” and he’s kept fans laughing out loud during his act in nightclubs and casinos across the country.

Now, Shore is bringing his favorite comedians along with him to the Eastside Cannery.

The Legends of Comedy performance on Saturday, April 16th will include one liners and comedy quips from Sammy, as well as one of Las Vegas’ favorite comic impressionists, Kathy Walker and Barry Diamond. Diamond, is a master at weaving his diverse “characters” based on everyday people into his hilarious show. His talent has earned him a spot on “Friends,” “Seinfeld” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”

On Saturday, May 21st, Sammy and his Legends of Comedy return with a new show. Shore will share the stage with the “Pit Bull of Comedy” Bobby Slayton, whom the New York Daily News called “Armed and Dangerous.” Comedian and actor Robert Duchaine, who says he was kicked out of every organization he was forced to join, will keep the audience entertained with his sarcastic social commentary.

All performances are in Marilyn’s Lounge at 8 p.m. and are free.
