El Cortez Jacket Giveaways for Jackpot Winners in February
Throughout February, Club Cortez players winning a jackpot of $200 or more on a slot machine, a $200 or more jackpot on a video poker five-cent or lower denomination machine, a $300 or more jackpot on a video poker 10-cent or high denomination machine or a $200 or more jackpot on live keno will receive a complimentary El Cortez jacket. Valentine’s Day Candy Giveaway – Feb. 9-13
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, Club Cortez members will receive one free box of candy for every 1,500 points earned February 9-13. Offer good while supplies last.

Saturday Point Fever – The 1,000,000 Point Giveaway at El Cortez
Club Cortez will give away one million points every Saturday throughout February. Ten club members will be randomly selected on Saturday for the opportunity to win 100,000 points. Players will receive one virtual drawing ticket for every 200 points earned each day during the week. Club Cortez members can also earn entry multipliers at the kiosks every day with Metal Horse Race. Players must activate their virtual drawing tickets at the kiosks beginning at 10 a.m., each Saturday. That’s a million points every Saturday!
Touch Screen Kiosks for Club Cortez Members
In an effort to continue providing innovative ways for Club Cortez members to access their account information, El Cortez has installed four new touch screen kiosks throughout the casino floor. Members can use the kiosks to find promotional offers and play exciting kiosks games. El Cortez is currently offering four promotions at the new kiosks:
- New Players Sign Up: Earn 500 slot points in a day and receive $5 in Free Slot Play.
- Spin N’ Win Promotion: Earn 100 slot points in a day and have a chance to spin the virtual prize wheel at one of the MGT kiosks. Personalized Website Feature for Club Cortez Members
Club Cortez has unveiled its newest feature for rated members – a personalized URL website for players to keep track of their various offers and promotions. This feature allows Club Cortez members a fast, simple and easy way to check on their earned benefits. El Cortez is offering this innovative new program through High Impact Direct, a leader in micro player marketing.
Don’t Miss Instant Action at the El Cortez
Instant Action allows players to turn earned points into free play without ever having to leave the machines. Instant Action also allows players to activate promotional free play without having to visit the slot club.
Weekly High Noon “Wheel and Deal” Drawing
Club Cortez players have an opportunity to win $500, $300, $200 or $100 in promotional chips during Wheel and Deal drawings every Saturday at 12 p.m. The giveaway offers two $100 prizes offered in total for fourth and fifth place. Throughout the week, drawing entries can be earned during blackjack, roulette and baccarat. During blackjack, tickets are distributed to players when the dealer receives a blackjack; during roulette, tickets are distributed to players when a 0 or 00 is hit; and during baccarat, players receive a ticket every time a “tie” hand is dealt. Promotional chips may be placed on any even money bet on blackjack, roulette or baccarat. Players will earn double the number of drawing entry tickets every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Players can only win one prize per drawing. Fans can get in the action of the championship football game at El Cortez Hotel & Casino’s sports book and bars. Guests will enjoy great drink and food specials throughout the game including $1 hot dogs and $2 beers.
Bugsy Siegel’s Birthday Specials – Saturday, Feb. 28
Toast to Bugsy Siegel, who owned the El Cortez for a brief six months in 1945, with a $5 Old Fashion and Cigar special in The Parlour Bar for the day.

Café Cortez offers a weekly, fresh jumbo stone crab dinner special every Friday and Saturday while supplies last. Stone crab is flown in fresh from Florida every week for the two-night special, which is available for $42 per pound and served with cottage fries and coleslaw.
