Elton John “The Million Dollar Piano” Announces March and April 2014 Engagement at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace

Elton John will return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace to perform his chart-topping hits in the critically acclaimed “The Million Dollar Piano” (Photo credit: Rebecca Taylor/MSG).  Tickets for the following March and April 2014 performances will go on sale Monday, Dec. 9 at 10 a.m. PST: 

• March 29-30 Saturday, Sunday
• April 1,3 and 5-6 Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, Sunday
• April 9-10 and 12 Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday
• April 16 and 8-19 Wednesday and Friday, Saturday
• April 22-23 and 25-26 Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, Saturday

World-renowned singer, songwriter and performer Elton John made a triumphant return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace with his all new show, “The Million Dollar Piano” in Sept. 2011. At the centerpiece of the performance is the show’s namesake piano, an engineering marvel featuring more than 68 LED video screens created by Yamaha.

Elton is accompanied by his band, which includes Davey Johnstone on guitar, Matt Bissonette on bass, John Mahon on percussion, Nigel Olsson on drums and Kim Bullard on keyboards, with a special appearance by percussionist Ray Cooper.

The monumental career of international singer/songwriter and performer Elton John spans five decades. He is one of the top-selling solo artists of all time, with 35 gold and 25 platinum albums, 29 consecutive Top 40 hits, and he has sold more than 250 million records worldwide. In September 2013 Elton released The Diving Board, his first solo album in 7 years to rave reviews. The album is produced by T Bone Burnett, and features 12 new songs written by Elton and his longtime lyricist Bernie Taupin. Elton holds the record for the biggest selling single of all time, “Candle in the Wind ’97,” which sold 37 million copies. Since his career began in 1969 he has played almost 3,000 concerts worldwide.
