Embers Grille + Spirits Celebrates Repeal Day Dec. 5
Embers Grille + Spirits, which recently opened in Summerlin’s Boca Park, will toast to the anniversary of Repeal Day on December 5. The holiday celebrates the anniversary of the 1933 repeal of Prohibition and the party taking place at Embers will honor the occasion with hand-crafted cocktails, tasty food specials, music from the era, contests and giveaways.
Revelers are encouraged to get into the spirit by wearing period costumes as they gather with friends to pay tribute to their constitutional right to drink alcohol.
The party will feature Prohibition era cocktails such as The Jack Rose, The Bees Knees and a house made “Bathtub Gin” along with a selection of drinks from the current Embers menu including the Aviation, Sazerac and Negroni, all for seven dollars each. Those imbibing will want to fill up on savory Tri Tip or Short Rib Sliders, the Eggplant and Fresh Mozzarella Melt and more, each specially priced at six dollars.
Embers Grille + Spirits opened in September and has quickly become a Summerlin neighborhood favorite with its approachable fare, modern atmosphere and welcoming staff. The independent restaurant and bar offers Angus steaks, ribs, seafood and new American classics from Executive Chef Brett Chumley, an accessible wine list and an extensive cocktail menu. Embers, located in Summerlin’s Boca Park, is open from 3 pm to 11 pm Monday –Thursday, 3 pm – 2 am on Friday and Saturday and from 1 pm to 11 pm on Sunday.
