Encore Beach Club, Surrender and XS Nightclubs to Bring DJs Steve Aoki and Feed Me to Wynn Las Vegas

The premier nightlife and daylife venues of Wynn Las Vegas will continue the recent partnership with the addition of shared residencies with renowned DJ Steve Aoki and rising star Feed Me. The two separate management groups, operating Encore Beach Club, Surrender Nightclub and XS Nightclub, continue to bring dynamic artists exclusive to the Wynn Las Vegas property in 2011.

“We were early to recognize the emergence of electronic music in the American nightclub scene and Steve Aoki’s residency and role as musical director in Surrender’s first year of operations was incredibly successful,” said Sean Christie, co-owner and managing partner of Surrender Nightclub and Encore Beach Club. “This partnership is a natural progression of the relationship between our two organizations working closely together to benefit nightlife at Wynn Las Vegas and Encore. We look forward to cultivating the next wave of chart-topping DJs with the addition of Feed Me to our stable of residents.”

“Our partnership with Surrender and Encore Beach Club continues to elevate the Wynn brand to the forefront of the exploding genre of electronic music,” said Jesse Waits, co-owner and managing partner of XS Nightclub. “These DJs are the new rock stars, bringing in crowds by the thousands for each performance. We are thrilled to have the best artists in the industry playing exclusively at our venues.”

Steve Aoki debuted as the musical director for Surrender Nightclub last year in addition to his Friday night residency “Aoki’s House”. His contract this year will expand into bringing his unique and energetic sets to XS once a month beginning Monday, April 4 at the venue’s popular industry night.

As a leading figure in the emerging electro-dance scene, Aoki is currently taking over the charts with his latest single “Turbulence,” a collaboration with Laidback Luke and Lil Jon. His hit songs include partnerships from the likes of Will.I.Am, Rivers Cuomo, Sky Ferreira, Kid Cudi and Blaqstarr. Aoki is also the visionary behind Dim Mak Records, who discovered and released albums from Bloc Party, MSTRKRFT, Bloody Beetroots and others. He has collaborated with and remixed music from Michael Jackson, The Killers, Robin Thicke, Lenny Kravitz, Weezer, Chester French, Tiga, All American Rejects, Drake, Chris Cornell and more.

DJ Feed Me is the most recent emerging talent on the electronic scene. Fresh off of his latest album release, Feed Me’s Big Adventure, the artist most famously known for his affiliation and collaboration with Deadmau5 and the mau5trap label brings a unique sound of electro-house and dubstep to his performances. Feed Me makes his Las Vegas debut at Surrender on March 23 and at XS on April 11. The residency will be exclusive to Wynn nightlife for the duration of the year.
