Executive Chef Matt Piekarski Introduces New Small Plates Menu at Eva Longoria’s Beso Steakhouse
As Executive Chef for Eva Longoria’s celebrated Beso Steakhouse in Crystals at CityCenter Las Vegas, Matt Piekarski brings his unique style and expertise to introduce the new enticing small plates menu.
The new small plates menu includes items from the “small beginnings” section of Beso Steakhouse’s decadent dinner menu. Incorporating dishes such as the Chickpea Fries topped with a sweet zatar spice dipped in harrisa ketchup and Eva’s signature recipe, guacamole and tortilla chips. Other dishes featured on the new small plates menu include the Chili Rellenos, a shortrib spread with goat cheese covered in red chili cream and also Eva’s personal favorite, the Skirt Steak with a black bean puree served with soft Mexican tortillas. The new small plates menu is the perfect complement to an intimate evening dining on Beso Steakhouse’s stylish patio, which opens daily at 5:30 p.m.

Chef Piekarski has been aboard the Beso Steakhouse team since it debuted in Crystals at CityCenter Las Vegas in Decemeber 2009. His favorite part about being a chef is being able to prepare dishes that people love, “I love knowing you can make a person happy by grilling their steak perfectly,” said Piekarski.
A Wisconsin native, Chef Piekarski dove into the restaurant industry at an early age. With a focus in fine dining, he has dedicated his career to perfecting his culinary craft and has been making waves in Las Vegas’ culinary industry for nearly a decade.
Longoria’s celebrated restaurant, Beso Steakhouse, is located at 3720 Las Vegas Boulevard, South in Crystals at CityCenter. Named “Best New Restaurant” by the 2010 Las Vegas Review-Journal annual readers’ poll, Beso Steakhouse features a flavorful menu with Latin influences. The dining room and patio are open Sunday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. until 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 5:30 p.m. until midnight.
