Female Hip Hop Sensation Saweetie the “Icy Grl” Rapper Kicks Off 2019 Residency at Light Nightclub in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino March 9
LIGHT Nightclub at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino has announced its newest resident, Saweetie. The high energy, female rapper and breakout artist will kick off the five date series on March 9 at LIGHT Nightclub and follow with her official album release party, with date to be announced.
LIGHT Nightclub recently welcomed Saweetie for a high energy, jaw dropping performance that wowed clubgoers and the venue alike. She is sure to bring fierce performances all summer long.
Saweetie is set to perform five dates to kick off the summer season for 2019 at the major Vegas nightlife destination. Known for her sensational hit “ICY GRL” off her 2018 debut EP, High Maintenance, notable collaborations with G-Eazy and Quavo, the Bay Area rapper will undoubtedly bring epic performances for party-goers at LIGHT Nightclub.

Saweetie joins The LIGHT 2019 residency program as the latest addition, which already includes Grammy-nominated artists such as Rick Ross, Jeezy and Super Producer/DJ’s Duke Dumont and Morgan Page. Rounding out the 2019 roster will be an eclectic mix of some of the hottest names in the music industry, featuring the likes of London on Da Track, Ookay, Bassjackers, Soulja Boy, Too $hort, and Whookid.
