First-Ever Ringo Starr Book & Print Exhibit to Take Place at Palms Casino Resort Nov. 22-23
The first-ever exhibit of Ringo Starr’s photographs, open to the public, features prints from PHOTOGRAPH, including the now famous “kids in the car” photo and coincides with Ringo’s only U.S. tour dates (Pictured: the now-famous “Kids in the Car” photo – Photo credit:  Ringo Starr www.RingoPhotoBook.com)

Ringo photographed the kids in the car traveling next to The Beatles in 1964.  After considerable searching this year, the kids were identified as Charlie Schwartz, Bob Toth, Gary Van Deursen, Suzanne Rayot, Arlene Norbe and Matt Blender (he died in 2011). They cut class to see The Beatles at Kennedy Airport on Feb. 7, 1964. Ringo plans to meet some of them at The Palms this week.

The exhibit will run in tandem with the only Ringo Starr and the All-Starr Band U.S. tour dates which will take place at The Pearl Concert Theater Friday, Nov. 22 and Saturday, Nov. 23. Tickets for the concert start at $70, plus applicable fees, and can be purchased at the Palms Box Office or by calling 702-944-3200.

Celebrating the life and photography of Ringo Starr, the book and print exhibit will showcase amazing moments in the famed drummer’s history that have been captured through the eye of Ringo’s camera lens. This is the first-ever public exhibit. From Genesis Publications, PHOTOGRAPH, gives fans a unique perspective on Ringo’s life through never-before-seen images. Exhibit includes the now world-famous “kids in the car” photo. Proceeds from the sale of PHOTOGRAPH benefit the Lotus Foundation.
