First Food & Bar Opens at The Palazzo
Last night was the grand opening of the highly-anticipated First Food & Bar at The Palazzo (Pictured above: Mekhi Phifer – Photo credit: Isaac Brekken).
Among the crowd, NBA player (Golden State Warriors) and investor in First, Corey Maggette who made mention of First being his new hangout in Vegas for the off-season, actor Mekhi Phifer who munched on the honey walnut shrimp, former American Idol contestant Ryan Starr who hit the First “hotdog stand” for a bite to eat, Senator John Ensign who enjoyed the night with family in a booth overlooking The Strip and Dr. 90210’s Dr. Gary Motykie hanging out with friends near the DJ booth. The Jersey Boys also popped in for some fun following their show.
DJ Manny Ramos kept the party going long after it officially ended, turning the bar and main restaurant floor into an impromptu dance floor. Guests dined on the restaurants extensive menu including Watermelon Arugala salad, Lobster Rolls, The Original Mini Burgers, Grandpa’s Pizza with a molasses wheat crust and creamy Cheese Grits among other items.
The restaurant’s photo booth was packed all night with guests taking their “First” photo.
