First Food & Bar’s Wing Throwdown Results
Saturday night, First Food & Bar inside The Palazzo held their first ever Wing Throwdown which had First’s chefs Sam DeMarco, Jake Mual and Rob Ryan competing to see who had THE best wings (Pictured above: winner Jake Mual celebrates Wing Throwdown – Photo credit: Edison Graff/Stardust Fallout).

Guests gathered in a back room of First as each wing was introduced with its own theme song. The winning wing by Chef Jake Mual was introduced by The Charlie Daniels Band’s “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.” His winning creation, Bootleggers Kickin’ Wing, featured chicken wings wrapped in prosciutto, covered in a Jim Beam chipotle BBQ sauce and served with a roasted corn and cilantro pudding. Guests then watched contestants put it down in a wing eating competition.

First Food & Bar is known for putting on fun culinary events and this summer will see the return of Shuck & Swallow on August 31st.
