Flamingo Las Vegas Renames Showroom After Donny & Marie in Celebration of Contract Extension Through 2014
Flamingo Las Vegas has renamed its iconic showroom the “Donny & Marie Showroom” after America’s most beloved brother-sister duo, who, after recently celebrating their five year anniversary at the property, signed an extension to perform through 2014 (Photo credit: Denise Truscello / WireImage www.DeniseTruscello.net).

“It’s only fitting that we rename our showroom for Donny & Marie, whose show is not only sold out night after night, but has been named the ‘Best Show in Las Vegas,’” said Eileen Moore, regional president of Flamingo Las Vegas. “Donny & Marie have become one of the staple entertainers on the Strip and they’ve truly become part of our family. We’re proud to have them call the Flamingo ‘home’ and be part of our incredible history.”

“Donny and I are so flattered to have the showroom at Flamingo Las Vegas renamed after us, which has been a wonderful second home,” said Marie. “We are incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to continue performing for packed houses through 2014. Who would have thought we would still be here when we first signed a limited six-week engagement back in 2008?”

“As soon as I saw the beautiful showroom at the Flamingo, I knew that it would be the perfect place for us to perform,” said Donny. “It is such a rich part of Las Vegas history and the fact that they are naming this iconic venue after us is such an honor.”

In their show at Flamingo Las Vegas, Donny & Marie share five decades of entertaining in a non-stop, 90-minute show of live music, singing and dancing. The show features some of their chart-topping hits, including “Puppy Love,” “Paper Roses,” “Morning Side of the Mountain,” “I’m Leavin’ it (All) Up To You” and “Soldier of Love.” This showcase of unmatched harmonies continues today with their number one hit, “A Beautiful Life,” from their duet album, “Donny & Marie” (2011).
