Floyd Mayweather, Dennis Rodman, Holly Madison, Hugh Hefner, Playmates at The Palms

Resident DJ at Rain Nightclub, Paul Oakenfold dined at Nove Italiano inside Palms Casino Resort Saturday night (May 2) with two guests. Oakenfold feasted on his favorite dish, shrimp franchaise to start and had the 16-ounce bone-in filet for his main course. His guests enjoyed the petit filet and the halibut, complemented by a couple side dishes. For dessert, they indulged in the strawberry carpaccio.

UFC champ Chuck Liddell also dined at Nove Italiano and was joined by eight friends. The group shared a variety of Nove’s signature appetizers including prosciutto, crab cakes, calamari and shrimp franchaise. Liddell enjoyed the ravioli for his main course.

At Playboy Club, Playboy Playmate Isa Ljungqvist (March 2008) was announced as 2009 Playmate of the Year. She hung out in the VIP section with Playboy icon Hugh Hefner, actress and model Brande Roderick and Oaklend Raiders quarterback Jeffrey Garcia. The group was seen drinking Le Tourment Verte, Ketel One and FIJI water. Retired basketball player Dennis Rodman and two friends also joined the group and later were seen checking out Perfecto at Rain Nightclub.

Also spotted at Playboy Club was Kato Kaelin, the one-time house guest of O.J. Simpson who became peripherally involved in the 1994-95 Simpson trial. He was accompanied by a few friends and they were seen playing blackjack.

Palms Pool & Bungalows kicked off a new season of Ditch Fridays on May 1, hosted by the Playboy Playmates of 2008 including Michelle McLaughlin (February 2008); AJ Alexander (May 2008); Juliette Frette (June 2008); Laura Croft (July 2008); Kayla Collins (August 2008); Kelly Carrington (October 2008); and identical twin sisters Jennifer and Natalie Campbell (December 2008). The Playmates made a splash with hot pink matching bikinis as they partied poolside. Additional guests at the weekly pool party included Boxer Floyd Mayweather, NFL free agent and Melvin Fowler, Charlotte Bobcats forward Sean May, Tennessee Titans fullback Ahmard Rashad Hall, former Houston Rocket Robert Sura, Grammy Award-winner Robin Thicke and John Huntington.

At Rain Nightclub, DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) spun for a packed house as the new resident DJ. Party-goers included the Playboy Playmates (AJ Alexander, Natalie Campbell, Jennifer Campbell, Juliette Frette, Kayla Collins, Kelly Carrington, Laura Croft, Michelle McLaughlin) and Holly Madison of The Girls Next Door. They hung out at a VIP table across from the stage. Hip hop musician and DJ Grandmaster Flash was also spotted the VIP table on stage near the DJ booth.

NFL Running Back for the Kansas City Chiefs Larry Johnson aka L.J. was spotted at a VIP table inside Moon Nightclub.

Also at N9NE Steakhouse, for the second night in a row, was professional skateboarder Ryan Sheckler, who is best known for being the star in the MTV reality show, Life of Ryan. Wearing a Red Bull baseball cap, jeans and a t-shirt, Sheckler was joined by friend and co-owner of DCMA Collective Clothing, Tal Cooperman and two other guests. Sheckler enjoyed the signature rock shrimp and a filet.

At a separate table in the main dining room, boxer Floyd Mayweather was joined by his entourage of and dined on his favorite menu items including the signature rock shrimp, chicken nuggets and some steak fries that were specially prepared for him. For dessert, they indulged with some apple pie.
