Lucky fans packed in to see one of the last tour dates for the group, who recently announced that after this run they will take some time off. Thursday night, band members and their families enjoyed dinner at Nobu inside the Hard Rock before hitting the stage at The Joint for what turned out to be one of their most memorable shows. Lead singer Dave Grohl announced to the crowd that The Joint is the most intimate venue they have played in since the mid 90s and promised the crowd a show they won’t soon forget.

The band held to their promise by rocking The Joint with hits like “X-Static,” “Monkey Wrench,” “Learn to Fly,” “Times Like These” and “Pretender.” Grohl kept the vibe going between songs joking and interacting with the crowd. At one point, spotting Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul in the balcony, Grohl pointed him out and told the audience how Paul influenced his music, then dedicated a song to him. After ripping through a solid 2 hour show, the band retreated to the Penthouse suite for some downtime.

Friday afternoon, the band was spotted relaxing at the Beach Club in two cabanas enjoying their rock star life with family, friends and poolside massages before setting up for another sold out rock show not to be missed.
