Additionally, Marino recently announced that after more than 26 years, 20,000 shows, 10 million audience members and 350,000 costume changes performing as Joan Rivers, he will no longer be “keeping up with the Jones’.” Marino will gradually phase Rivers out of his show, and will soon perform solely as Frank Marino, Superstar Female Impersonator. He will open the show with his ever changing comedic monologue and narrate the production throughout, but since he has achieved such high levels of stardom, he no longer feels it necessary to attach himself to another star.

A contemporary and upbeat production, the show is chock full of female celebrity look-alikes impersonating some of entertainment’s most beloved superstars from Cher and Bette Midler to Britney Spears. To keep the production fresh and exciting, Marino has recently made some additions to the dazzling show including Rihanna, Janet Jackson and Lady Gaga. Marino will also soon debut a new wardrobe, with half of his custom-made dresses from designer-to-the stars Bob Mackie, and the other half from up-and-coming designers. The show, which opened at Imperial Palace in October of 2009, has been extended through December 2012.

Frank Marino’s “Divas Las Vegas” performs six nights a week (dark Fridays) at 10 p.m. Ticket prices are $39, $69 and $79 (plus tax and fees) and are available at the Imperial Palace box office, online at www.imperialpalace.com or by calling (888) 777-7664.
