Galaxy Theatres Enhances Luxury Movie Experience with New Laser Projection, a Las Vegas First
Galaxy Theatres, continuing to be at the forefront of the luxury movie-going experience, has added a new laser projection system to its Cannery Luxury+ Theatre in North Las Vegas. This is the first movie theatre in the Las Vegas area to feature such technology (Pictured: Barco Smart Laser Printer).
Cannery Luxury+ is one of six Galaxy Theatres locations to install the latest Smart Laser Projector system from Barco in its Premium Large Format (PLF) DFX auditoriums. Additionally, each auditorium will include a new ultra-high gain screen, incorporating a new 3D reflectance technology that allows stunning display of 3D films.

The new Barco projectors feature the highest brightness in the industry and are ideal for illuminating premium large screens, especially for 3D movies. Guests will be able to experience brighter, bolder colors on a giant 65 x 36-foot screen. Locally, Galaxy’s Green Valley Luxury+ in Henderson will be the next theatre to install the new system followed by Legends IMAX Luxury+ in Sparks, Nevada and three other locations in California.

Galaxy Theatres’ DFX auditoriums already feature immersive Dolby Atmos sound systems with audio that flows all around the guest with breathtaking realism in addition to luxurious reclining lounge chairs. The Cannery Luxury+ Theatre is located at Cannery Casino & Hotel in North Las Vegas.
