Get Spicy at Tacos & Tequila’s ‘Sexy de Mayo’ Weekend Hosted by Playmate Jessica Burciaga May 2-5
Dust off your sombreros and get ready for the fiesta of the year at Tacos & Tequila’s (T&T) inside Luxor Hotel and Casino. T&T will host a four-day Cinco de Mayo fiesta featuring food and drink specials Friday, May 2 through Monday, May 5. The Sexy de Mayo celebration will culminate with an action packed fiesta and a “Cock-A-Doodle Duel” hosted by sultry playmate Jessica Burciaga from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Monday, May 5.
Fiesta-goers may enjoy a $5 holiday-inspired menu offered all weekend long from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., featuring Fiesta Nachos, Habañero Wings, Chicken Quesadillas, Beef or Poblano Flautas, Guacamole, well drinks, house red or white wine and sangria. Also available are buckets of Sol beer, priced at $18. The party never stops with T&T’s Fiesta Weekends complete with DJ Larry Lynx spinning high-energy sets as well as $5 Dos Equis and Jose Cuervo shots all weekend long from 7 to 11 p.m.
T&T’s signature Mariachi Brunch will be offered on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with two-for-one T&T Top Shelf Margaritas and Bloody Marias, along with Executive Chef Saul Ortiz’s signature breakfast specialties including Chilaquiles, Huevos Rancheros, Machaca Breakfast Burritos and more.
On Cinco de Mayo, T&T will host a ‘Sexy de Mayo’ fiesta with delicious food, high-energy entertainment and a special appearance by Jessica Burciaga. T&T will offer $5 food and drink specials, available all day long with a live Mariachi from 3:45 to 6:45 p.m. The music won’t stop there; DJ Larry Lynx will take over from 6:45 to 11 p.m.
Human Rooster Fighting
The famous Cock-A-Doodle Duels will begin at 7 p.m. where two opponents will put on rooster feet, masks and strap balloons to their ankles and engage in a friendly battle to stomp out each other’s balloons in attempt to win the grand prize of $1,000. Industry competitors may register at 6 p.m. to receive a team number, chicken mask and complimentary drink voucher, first come first serve. Emceed by Farrah Hines, the brackets will be set up with 10 industry competitors that will duel it out. The first round will include five fights with 10 people; the semi-final round will include two fights with five people. By random drawing, one competitor will be entered into one of the duels as a third wheel. The final “Dos Amigos Death Match” will consist of two people competing for the grand prize, winner takes all.
