Girl Scouts Perform with Ryan Ahern, Star of Piano! Las Vegas

Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada hosted a two-day workshop on June 17 and 18, where girls were challenged to learn about the music industry to earn their Making Music and Music Fan badges.  

The girls participated in a three-hour program with musician Ryan Ahern, star of Piano! Las Vegas at his private rehearsal studio on June 17. Ahern worked with the girls to create musical instruments, rehearse for the performance, discuss the history of music and explore career possibilities.

The program culminated with 23 girls performing the song “Rainbow Connection” during Ahern’s show Piano! Las Vegas:
