Body English was open last week for its first ever BASSment Thursdays with drum, bass, electro and house producer Kill the Noise. The artist played a mix of many genres to a pumped up crowd including bass heavy metal, techno and more.

Mainstream metal band Nonpoint strapped on its guitars at Vinyl on Friday. The group played a set of heavy, thrashing music and had the crowd rocking out to their favorite songs including “In the Air Tonight,” “Alive And Kicking,” “Bullet With A Name” and more. Across the casino, Body English was turning up the noise with resident DJ Richard Beynon. The property regular hit the DJ booth while attendees grooved on the dance floor. Famed house music artist DJ Chris Garcia joined Beynon for Afterhours. The two had the club partying into the early morning hours.

On Saturday, up-and-coming American soul and rock band Vintage Trouble took the stage at Vinyl. Following, English rockers Band of Skulls played their alternative tunes to a packed house including “I Know What I Am,” “Sweet Sour,” “Death by Diamonds And Pearls” and more. Body English also had the sound blasting with house and techno music pioneer 2000 and One and popular artist DJ Stellar. The two played high-energy sets to an excited crowd as they partied the night away during Afterhours.

The weekend festivities came to an end on Sunday at Body English’s industry night with an excellent line up including the group Evitan consisting of Dres of Black Sheep and Jarobi of A Tribe Called Quest; Mikey Swift; and DJ Swift. Patrons enjoyed the night sipping on drinks and dancing as the various DJs entered the booth one by one. Spotted among the crowd was speed skater and eight-time Olympic medalist Apollo Ohno.
