Headliner Peter Cetera joins Southern Nevada Doctors to Raise Funds for Nevada’s Largest Non-profit Hospice
Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Peter Cetera will be headlining the stage along with talented members of the Southern Nevada medical community this month to raise funds for the non-profit Nathan Adelson Hospice. Cetera will perform his popular hits during the “Serenades of Life – Doctors in Concert” event on Saturday, Oct. 20. 

“As we celebrate 40 years of caring for Southern Nevada, we are honored to once again bring the beloved Serenades of Life concert to the community,” said Carole Fisher, president and chief executive officer of Nathan Adelson Hospice. “This impressive evening showcases a wide array of talent that helps support the critical work we do to make sure no one ends the journey of life alone, afraid or in pain.”

Actor/comedian Brad Garrett will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Selma Bartlett, an icon in the local banking industry and renowned philanthropist, will receive the annual Brad Garrett Humanitarian Award at the event. In addition to Cetera, other performers will include: Alan Arnold, M.D.; Linda Woodson, M.D.; Robert Lieberman, M.D.; Yevgeniy Khavkin, M.D; Jeannie Khavkin, M.D. and Alter’d Ego band members David Miller, M.D., Ken Woloson, Esq., Phronsie Markin, Larry Tindall, Brad Torchin, Tim Mendoza, along with featured guests Ed Kingsley, M.D., and Ira Spector. Musical numbers featured will range from soul to rock‘n’roll to pop.

Proceeds from the concert will support The Bonnie Schreck Memorial Complementary Therapies program at Nathan Adelson Hospice. The program improves the quality of life for the hospice’s patients and loved ones by easing emotional and physical discomfort. Patients and their loved ones may request various therapies such as Pet Therapy, Reiki Energy Work, Massage Therapy, Art Therapy, Reflexology, and Aromatherapy.
