Herman’s Hermits Starring Peter Noone and The Turtles Featuring Flo and Eddie at The Cannery Casino Sept. 17

The Cannery Casino welcomes two of the biggest acts from the 1960s: Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone and The Turtles featuring Flo and Eddie. Both groups will perform at The Club inside The Cannery Casino September 17, 2011 at 8:30 p.m.

Herman’s Hermits and Peter Noone have delighted audiences around the world since 1964 when the band reached international success with the single “I’m Into Something Good.” It went to #1 in Great Britain and was in the Top 20 in the United States and brought the band instant recognition. Their other hits include “Mrs. Brown You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter,” “I’m Henry The VIII, I Am,” “There’s A Kind Of Hush,” “Silhouettes” and “Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat.” In all, Herman’s Hermits sold more than 60 million records.

The Turtles, featuring Flo and Eddie, was a partnership that started in high school choir in Los Angeles. In 1965, the band released its debut single and the fairytale began. The song, an arrangement of Bob Dylan’s “It Ain’t Me Babe’” reached the Top 5 on the Billboard charts. The group’s success continued with the Top 20 hits “You Baby,” “She’d Rather Be With Me,” “She’s My Girl,” “Elenore” and their signature song “So Happy Together.”
