In town on business, Mindy Kaling took the night off to celebrate her birthday. Mindy started her night with a group of friends at The LINQ, the Strip’s all-new outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment district, where she rode the new, 550-foot-tall Las Vegas High Roller, the world’s tallest observation wheel. Rolling in their own sky bar with a bartender into one of the High Roller’s 28 glass-enclosed cabins, the group toasted to Mindy’s birthday atop of the Las Vegas Strip’s most unparalleled views.

Following the 550-foot high ride, Mindy and the group headed to dinner at Gordon Ramsay Steak inside Paris Las Vegas to feast on the Gordon Ramsay staples including the Beef Wellington and Sticky Toffee Pudding. The sweet treats did not end there. The Paris team surprised the birthday girl with a custom cake to make her Las Vegas birthday bash more memorable.
In Las Vegas this week to present at the NHL Awards, “American Idol” alum Pia Toscano also rode the High Roller Tuesday night before heading across the street to Caesars Palace to enjoy dinner at Nobu Restaurant & Lounge. Toscano is also celebrating the Los Angeles Kings’ recent Stanley Cup win. This season, she earned the title of the team’s “good luck charm,” as every time she sang the National Anthem at one of their home games, the team won.
The High Roller
