Now in its seventh year, Tony Hawk: SHRED Presents Stand Up For Skateparks has played a critical role in helping the Tony Hawk Foundation bring quality, accessible skateparks to youth in 463 communities nationwide, including a project currently underway in East Las Vegas. Tony Hawk: SHRED Presents Stand Up For Skateparks is made possible through the support of Tony Hawk: SHRED, Wynn Las Vegas, Ex Drinks, Kohl’s, Dynacraft, Zappos, and Quiksilver Foundation.

In addition to many new activities, this year’s event will include a special Pledge Drive for a skatepark in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Las Vegas. With a high concentration of youth, few recreational opportunities, and limited access to the city’s existing skateparks, the youth of Hyde Park will benefit greatly from the opportunity to skate a quality, compelling skatepark in their own neighborhood. The Pledge Drive at Tony Hawk: SHRED Presents Stand Up For Skateparks will help make these kids’ dream of a free, quality, local skatepark a reality.
