Houston Hospitality to Bring Karaoke to On The Record at Park MGM in Las Vegas
If you want to sing, sing out at Houston Hospitality’s On The Record, a new venue offering a never-before-seen spin on Las Vegas nightlife, scheduled to open December 28 at Park MGM

Native Angelenos and twin brothers Jonnie and Mark Houston are excited to announce they will be incorporating karaoke into their first Las Vegas venture – another popular element from their successful Los Angeles nightspots.

Three distinctly designed karaoke rooms are among the retro-tinged fun and multi-layered signature Houston Hospitality guest experiences to be found at the 11,000-square-foot venue.

“We want our guests to leave it all behind when they walk in,” said the Houstons. “A karaoke room break is such a fun way to hang out with a group of friends and step outside your comfort zone to belt out that Sinatra ballad or ’80s guilty pleasure song.”

Guests will step through a hidden passageway and back in time to access the karaoke rooms, inspired by the Houstons’ nostalgia-themed Los Angeles venues including Good Times at Davey Wayne’s (1970s); Break Room 86 (1980s); and Dirty Laundry (1990s).

On The Record will conjure a feeling of nostalgia inspired by different musical eras while reflecting the Houstons’ signature modern speakeasy atmosphere. Across the casino floor from the resort’s Park Theater, the three-room venue will feature a functioning record store entry, indoor and outdoor spaces, an outside double-decker bus DJ booth, a world-class cocktail program, an intimate Record Parlor, and an immersive and entertaining hidden club experience driven by the Houstons’ award-winning interior design.

Karaoke room reservations begin December 1. Call 702-730-6773, Ext. 36773.

On The Record will be open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights. Wednesday industry nights for locals kick off January 2.
