Rock N' Roll Mariachis at Hussong’s Cantina
In honor of Mexican Independence Day on Sunday, September 16, Hussong’s Cantina in Mandalay Place will offer a weekend long celebration of food and drink specials as the restaurant gives guests a taste of Baja.

The two day fiesta will kick off on Saturday, September 15 as Executive Chef Noe Alcala serves up Caesar Crispy Chicken Tacos ($16) consisting of two tacos made with 6” sundried tomato tortillas topped with Caesar salad, chicken tenders breaded with green corn tortilla, drizzled with a cumin sour cream and served with whole pinto beans and Mexican style red rice. Guests can take a swig of half price pitchers and drafts of Pacifico, Victoria, Negra Modelo and Modelo Especial, and the restaurant will offer Hornitos shots ($5), Hornitos Margaritas ($5), buckets of Corona ($15) and Corona swag giveaways.

The nationally celebrated holiday marks the beginning of the Mexican War of Independence and Hussong’s intends to celebrate the right way as the Rock n’ Roll Mariachi band will amp up the night, entertaining the room with song requests from classic rock hits to Latin serenades.
