Imagine Dragons & The Tyler Robinson Foundation Team Up at The 2018 Allstate Sugar Bowl to Drive Awareness for Pediatric Cancer Support
GRAMMY Award-winning band Imagine Dragons performed to a sold-out crowd at the 2018 Allstate Sugar Bowl Fan Fest in New Orleans this past Sunday night dedicating the performance, which aired on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2018, to families impacted by pediatric cancer (Photo credit: Drew de F Fawkes – Imagine Dragons, Roundhouse, London CC BY 2.0)

The multiplatinum-selling band’s nonprofit organization the Tyler Robinson Foundation (TRF) continued the charitable good deeds by partnering with Children’s Hospital New Orleans as well as participating in the Allstate Fan Fest to generate awareness and support for the Foundation’s mission. TRF is devoted to strengthening families financially and emotionally as they cope with the tragedy of a pediatric cancer diagnosis by providing grants specifically to offset out-of-pocket life expenses.

The performance and Fan Fest participation cap off an exciting year for Imagine Dragons and TRF. Now entering its fifth year of operation, with the help of the band and the Foundation’s many volunteers, TRF doubled its fundraising efforts in 2017 expanding its reach to offer support to nearly 150 families nationwide.

“It’s been a really special year for the band, made even sweeter by the families we were able to help thanks to the efforts of TRF,” said Dan Reynolds, Imagine Dragons lead singer and TRF board member. “We’re excited to expand our mission even further in 2018.”
