“It’s a Family Show”: Night Owl Showroom to Host “The Worst Show in Vegas” through May 2018
The “Worst Show in Vegas” isn’t what you expect when you hear the name. In actuality, it is quite entertaining. The show stars Yurdi Worst, a magician from Austria, and his long lost younger siblings, Judy and Brock, as they live their dream of having their own show in Las Vegas.

“The Worst Show in Vegas” is an afternoon, family-friendly variety show that is appropriate for all ages and filled with family dynamics we can all relate to, even if your brother isn’t a magician. It is currently being staged Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 4:00 pm in the intimate Night Owl Showroom of Hooters Casino Hotel.

Rory Johnston stars as Yurdi Worst, a magician from Austria. Rory started his show business career when he joined the circus at age 17. He was trained in the world of theme parks at Walt Disney World, where he worked for four years. He has appeared in various other Las Vegas shows.

Rory is joined by SJ (Sarah Jessica Rhodes Smith) as Judy Worst. SJ is no stranger to the Las Vegas stage. She has acted, sung, danced and choreographed in several productions ranging from West Side Story to the Sound of Music.

Comedic juggler, Jacob Jax, plays Brock Worst in this show. Jacob cut his teeth in show business doing over five thousands shows on the street in Las Vegas. His talents include comedy, magic, juggling and masterfully controlling a crowd.

Rounding out the show is Botielus, as cousin Weedi Worst. Botielus is Las Vegas’s most rockin’ accordionist, playing lots of rock and pop not usually associated with the squeezebox. He has appeared on “America’s Got Talent” and many other television and radio shows.

Each character brings his or her own style of entertainment to fill the show with genuinely good, clean fun in an intimate, family-friendly setting. It is a truly unique show.

“This is no Vegas cookie cutter show,” says Vegas local, Lynetta Welch. “It’s a fun, clean, unique, feel-good show that’s packed with talent. There is magic, music, comedy, and juggling…something for everyone.”

Jen Krammer, another Vegas local, said “The show kept us smiling and laughing throughout. The “Worst” family members are super funny and talented.”

The show is approximately 60 minutes in length. Guests who arrive early are eligible to win an upgrade to watch the show from the “Worst Seats” (don’t worry, it really is an upgrade!), and everyone is invited to stay after to take pictures with cast members and purchase the “Worst” souvenir T-shirt.

“The Worst Show in Vegas” runs every Thursday, Friday and Saturday through May 2018 at the Night Owl Showroom in the Hooters Casino Hotel, 115 E. Tropicana Ave., Las Vegas. Tickets cost $54.25 for general admission and $65.15 for premium, and they can be purchased at www.worstshowinvegas.com.
