Jacques Café Celebrates Grand Opening in Summerlin
Jacques Café, a new casual American bistro in Summerlin celebrated its grand opening this week (Pictured: Beef Short Ribs).
Named after owner and head chef Jacques Pauvert, this family-friendly restaurant caters to a variety of dining preferences with breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch offering a wide selection of hearty yet healthy dishes.
Langosteno Omlette
“We wanted to develop a new concept that would attract the discerning diner who appreciates good tasting, high-quality, healthy food,” says co-owner and head chef Jacques Pauvert. “Our ingredients include hormone-free, grass-fed beef, free-range poultry and fresh organic produce. Our crab cakes are made with 100 percent crab meat. We make our tofu with a unique blend of fresh vegetables and our homemade soups and dressings include organic ingredients. We use only the freshest, highest quality ingredients for recipes that will please every palette.”
Salmon and Avocado Bonini
Burgers, pasta, fish and ribs are offered while a variety of tasty vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free items are also featured daily. A selection of desserts is included on the menu, or, diners can choose from the large selection of fresh-made cookies, muffins and pies from the pastry case.
Risotto
Pauvert is a self-taught chef with more than 20 years of experience as a professional chef, manager and restaurant owner, most recently, successfully running his own restaurant in Maui, Hawaii.

“Opening a new restaurant concept in Las Vegas has created so many opportunities for us,” said Pauvert. “We didn’t want to open just another restaurant serving overpriced, oversized, unhealthy meals but, we also didn’t want to just cater to those who prefer a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle. We have created a happy combination of both health-conscious food married with savory options at affordable prices.”

With a complimentary cup of organic coffee for breakfast, free Wi-Fi, a cozy dinner atmosphere, heated outdoor patio and bar serving high-quality yet low-priced beer, sake and wine, this fast-casual restaurant offers something for everyone.
Jacques Café is located in Summerlin’s Trails Shopping Center, 1910 Village Center Circle, Unit 1, Las Vegas, Nev., 89134. Jacques Café is open daily and is also available for private party rentals, accommodating nearly 70 customers in its dining room and another 45 in its outdoor patio.
