James Head and Mike Pyle will battle at the TUF 16 Finale

This December, Christmas will come early for the UFC fans as the legendary fighting league is running finals for the TUF TV show on two consecutive nights. On the 14th December UFC FX 6 will take place. This event will also function as the finale for “TUF: The Smashes” – an edition of The Ultimate Fighter franchise, where team Australia and Team UK fight for MMA supremacy. On the very next day the Finale of US TUF will take place in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

In addition to fights between TUF finalists and their coaches Roy Nelson and Shane Carwin the main card will most likely also include a welterweight clash between James Head and Mike Pyle. The information was also confirmed by Pyle on Twitter.

Pyle is a seasoned veteran of the MMA game and has an impressive record to prove it – in UFC he is 6-3 and in his previous MMA career 23-8-1. After winning his last two fights Pyle hopes to keep his winning run alive against James Head who has also defeated his last two opponents by choking out Papy Abedi on Fuel2 and pulling off a real big surprise when beating Brian Ebersole earlier this year. Head has less experience than Pyle, but with a fight record of 2 wins-1 loss in UFC and 9 wins and 2 losses in his previous MMA career, he is not a rookie and poses serious threat to anyone who steps into the octagon with him.

Both of the fighters are undefeated in UFC in 2012, but someone has to lose in order for one of them to extend the winning streak. Tune in for these spectacular broadcasts to enjoy superb MMA action as TUF coaches, finalists and other UFC fighters provide you with the best moves MMA has to offer.
