Jenni Rivera to Celebrate Birthday with Performance at Eastside Events Center July 2

Latin Grammy winner, Double-Platinum selling singer, songwriter and TV star Jenni Rivera is returning to the Eastside Events Center for an extra special performance on July 2nd at 9 p.m. 

Her last show at the Eastside Events Center in 2010 was the quickest sellout at the property all year long.

Rivera’s performance will be especially memorable not just for fans, but for Rivera as well. She’ll be performing on her birthday and she’s promised to provide fans with a very special birthday performance–complete with all the festivities and some surprises too!

Jenni Rivera’s popularity has caught even casual observers by surprise. She’s released 13 records, sold in excess of 20 million albums worldwide, she is the first Latin artist to ever sell out the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on two consecutive nights. She’s an entrepreneur, a TV producer and star of her own TV show, “I Love Jenni” which debuts on the Mun2 network this month.

To many of her fans, the Los Angeles native is simply “La Diva de la Banda”. Her concert at the Eastside Events Center will include all the banda, norteña and mariachi music she’s known for. Her latest album “La Gran Señora” was the best-selling Mexican Regional album of 2010.

As a songwriter, Rivera has often relied on her well-publicized personal life for inspiration. She has succeeded in a genre still dominated by men. Her edgy image, new spirit of femininity, and controversial themes not only entertain fans but inspire them as well. Many of her fans watched on TV as she married former Major League pitcher and two-time All Star player Esteban Loiaza in 2010.
