Jerry’s Nugget Casino Hosts New Year’s Eve Festivities

Ring in the New Year at locals’ favorite casino Jerry’s Nugget with music, drinks and a chance at $9,000 in cash prizes.

Starting Dec. 10, More Club members will have the opportunity to earn electronic entries for two cash drawings being held on New Year’s Eve. One electronic drawing entry will be awarded for every 100 points earned in a day by playing slots, video poker and video keno. Players who earn 4,000 points in a day will receive an extra 25 entries for that day. There will be two cash drawings on New Year’s Eve, each with two winners. The first drawing will take place at 9:30 p.m. and will award $500 and $1,000. The second drawing at 10:30 p.m. will award $1,000 and $1,500 to two lucky More Club members.

In addition to the cash giveaway, 50 players will be eligible to participate in the $5,000 Instant Hot Player Giveaway. Machines will be selected at random between 7:00 p.m. and midnight and each player whose machine is selected will receive $100 in free play. Players must have their More Club card inserted at time of play to participate and are eligible to win as many times as they are randomly selected.

The New Year’s Eve festivities heat up with the Cumbia dance rhythms of Esencia Colombiana performing in the Royal Street Theater. Show time is 11:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. and admission is $10 with a two drink minimum. The show includes free party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. Patrons celebrating the beginning of 2009 on the casino floor will also receive free party favors and champagne.
