Jerry’s Nugget Casino Releases Collectible $5 Gaming Chip to Commemorate 50 Year Golden Anniversary
This year, Jerry’s Nugget Casino celebrates a monumental anniversary, with 50 years of outstanding food, service, exciting entertainment, and gaming. In celebration, the property has released a commemorative 50th anniversary $5 gaming chip

The $5 casino chip displays the newly-unveiled commemorative Jerry’s Nugget 50th anniversary logo, along with a red and blue border. The chips will be used on the casino floor in live table games, and will be available for purchase at the casino’s main cage.

With a continued commitment to gaming, Jerry’s Nugget boasts a full-service gaming floor with the latest slots and video poker, race and sports book, live keno lounge, bingo hall and table games. Still owned by the Stamis family, Jerry’s Nugget remains today, one of the premier mid-sized casino properties in North Las Vegas.

“In a time period where technology is so rampant, it’s important to us to have a gaming chip symbolizing this exciting anniversary,” said Joseph Stamis director and vice president of Jerry’s Nugget. “From our local customers to collectors across the nation, we know there is a great following for our chips and we’re excited to share our newest edition as guests continue to enjoy their favorite games in our family-friendly atmosphere.”

Opened in 1964, Jerry’s Nugget on Las Vegas Blvd. North was established when owners Jerry Stamis and Jerry Lodge purchased Mordell Earl’s old Town House Bar. Four years later, they bought out their closest competitor, the Bonanza Club, which featured the city’s tallest sign in 1968, the famous oil derrick.
