Julien’s Auctions Hosts Free Public Exhibit of Burt Reynolds Collection Prior to Auction at The Palms

The public exhibition will give fans and collectors an exclusive sneak peek into the highly-anticipated auction event featuring personal effects, career memorabilia, and a museum-caliber fine art collection from film and television icon, Burt Reynolds. The single owner sale will take place later in the week at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas on Thursday, Dec. 11 and Friday, Dec. 12, 2014 beginning at 10 a.m. PST.

Memorabilia from The Collection of Burt Reynolds include cherished items from both his career and personal life including clothing, stage costumes, Western memorabilia including firearms, fine and decorative art, film and television props and memorabilia, The Smokey & The Bandit Trans Am vehicles and more.

Highlights of the auction will include museum quality paintings and sculptures, the “Smokey & The Bandit” car, handcrafted items from the celebrated Edward H. Bohlin Company, clothing and accessories, jewelry, a red jacket worn in “Smokey and the Bandit II,” a multitude of awards, personal rolodex, inscribed letters and photographs from his cinematic friends and memorabilia from major sports figures. As an added attraction to the auction event, Julien’s Auctions will also be offering vehicles from the Collection of Burt Reynolds.
