Junior Achievement, Fogo de Chao Partner for April Financial Literacy Month

Dine any Tuesday at either Fogo de Chão location in April and 35 percent of food sales will benefit Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada. Guests must mention or enter JA2016 when making reservations to be eligible for the 35 percent donation.

Fogo de Chão features fire-roasted meats carved tableside by gaucho chefs, seafood options, the gourmet Market Table & Feijoada Bar, and traditional Brazilian side dishes and decadent desserts.

This special month-long offer is being made in conjunction with National Financial Literacy Month.

Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada reaches more than 20,000 students annually throughout Clark County, teaching the importance of being financially responsible. Since 1996, Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada has impacted more than 200,000 students with practical hands-on financial literacy curriculum. These programs have been delivered by more the 285 area businesses and nearly 7,000 business role models.

Current local programs span grades K-12, with age-appropriate curricula. At the elementary level, students learn about their roles as individuals, workers and consumers while focusing on key life skills like the importance of saving and the difference between wants and needs. Middle grade and high school students learn about key economic principals, workforce issues they will face, personal budgeting and credit.
