Keith Sweat to Perform at Star of the Desert Arena in Primm August 4
Tickets are on sale now for Keith Sweat in concert on Saturday, Aug. 4, at Star of the Desert Arena in Primm. The legendary R&B singer will get the audience sweating to the sounds of his impressive list of hits, including “I Want Her,” “Twisted” and “I’ll Give All My Love to You.”
A highly acclaimed singer and songwriter and the reigning king of the “slow jam,” Sweat has dominated the R&B scene since the late 80s, when he released his debut album, “Make It Last Forever.” What followed is a three-decade-long career that garnered five straight number one albums and 25 million records sold. As a producer, he is credited with discovering the group Silk, whose debut album featured the classic “Freak Me.”
He has also produced Dru Hill, The Isley Brothers and The O’Jays, among others. In recent years, Sweat added radio presenter to his list of talents as the host of the nationally syndicated radio program “The Sweat Hotel,” heard Sundays through Fridays from 7 p.m. to midnight in all time zones.
