Kellie Pickler to Perform at Veil Pavilion at Silverton Casino Hotel
America’s sweetheart and finalist on “American Idol,” Kellie Pickler, is bringing a taste of country music to the Veil Pavilion stage.
The small town girl turned country music sensation got her big break in the industry when she captivated audiences on Season 5 of “American Idol.” After the season ended she signed her first contract with BNA Records and soon after released her debut album Small Town Girl in 2006.
To continue on her path to success, Pickler released her self-titled second album in 2008, which included her first Top Ten hit “Best Days of Your Life.” This chart topping song was one she co-wrote with Taylor Swift. Pickler saw much success this year as she was presented with the award for Performance of the Year, USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year and Tearjerker Video of the Year at the CMT Music Awards.
Pickler went on to be nominated for other numerous awards, such as Single of the Year: Female at the American Country Awards in 2010 and Choice Music: Female Country Artist at the Teen Choice Awards in 2011.
After recently releasing her third album, 100 Proof, Pickler reveled in the success of the album as it landed at No. 2 on the Country Albums Chart, No. 7 on the Billboard Top 200 and on the Top Digital Albums chart.
Pickler’s light hearted and charming personality combined with her award winning songs makes for one performance that is sure to capture the hearts of all audience members.
