Kenny Bob Davis to Headline This Week at The Improv at Harrah’s Las Vegas

Budd Friedman and Mark Lonow’s world-famous Improv Comedy Club at Harrah’s Las Vegas showcases a different marquee of acts each week.  Kenny Bob Davis takes the stage tomorrow through Sunday, with supporting acts Carrie Snow and David Gee.

Kenny Bob Davis began his career as a 60’s guitar playing folk-singer, playing bars and clubs around San Diego and on the SoCal beaches, formed a traveling show band and lounge act in the 70’s, and became a stand-up comedian in the 80’s.  Davis has opened concerts and shows for stars such as the legendary George Burns, Willie Nelson, Ramsey Lewis, Kenny Rogers, Roy Clark, Vince Gill and Larry Gatlin.

Davis has also guest starred as a comedian on Prime Time Country, John Davidson, Merv Griffin and the Norm Crosby Comedy Shop, and has appeared in ER, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Sisters, Murder She Wrote and Gremlins. Davis released his fourth live album, A Vegas Souvenir in 2008, recorded at The Improv at Harrah’s Las Vegas. Nicknamed the ‘Golf Comic’ by many PGA players and fellow entertainers, Davis has performed at and played in over 300 Charity and PGA/LPGA Tour events.

Davis continues to headline venues across the country as a solo stand-up comedian, a one-man corporate showman and is a regularly invited USO performer for our military men and women aboard several aircraft carriers at sea and for our U.S. Marines in the field (he is a veteran USMC Corpsman).

Improv shows are at 8:30pm and 10:30pm every Tuesday through Sunday.  Tickets are $29.05 (plus applicable taxes) or $44.95 (plus applicable taxes) for VIP tickets that include special seating and an Improv t-shirt.  Special two-for-one tickets are also available for locals during the 10:30pm show.  Tickets are available at Harrah’s Box Office (702-369-5223) and online at www.harrahs.com.
