Las Vegas’ The LINQ Promenade and High Roller Celebrate Inaugural Halloween Weekend
The LINQ Promenade celebrated its inaugural Halloween Friday night with a full day of festivities with trick-or-treaters, “Thriller” flash mobs and a $10,000 first place costume contest on the LINQ Fountain Stage.
The High Roller lit with a special Halloween-inspired light show of orange and yellow played as the backdrop as the the younger crowd strolled The LINQ Promenade earlier in the evening collecting King-Size candy bars in the Halloween-themed shopping, dining and entertainment district filled with decorations.
A flash mob surprised the crowd with a full choreographed version of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” taking place in front of the all-new LINQ Hotel & Casino, which welcomed its first guests Thursday.
As Silent Disco continued through the night at The LINQ Fountain Stage, over 70 costumed party-goers registered for The LINQ costume contest for the hopes of winning the grand prize.
The LINQ Hotel & Casino headliner Jeff Civillico hosted the contest with the crowd voting on their favorite ghosts and ghouls. The “Crazy Dragon Man” took home the $10,000 prize while second place and $2,500 went to the four Johnny Depps and third place for $500 to Bumblebee from the Transformers.
The LINQ will continue celebrations with Monday Night Football, BLOQ Party Tuesdays, Wine Walk Wednesdays and Thursday Ladies Night. For more information, visit: TheLINQ.com.
