Greeted with top hats and fake moustaches in honor of the famed Count Camilo Negroni, creator of the Negroni, guests were treated to Negronis. Tony Abou-Ganim gave an introduction and a brief history of the drink before turning the microphone over to Francesco Lafranconi who explained the significance of the Negroni and the event. “This is the most classic cocktail we have in Italy,” stated Lafranconi to guests. After a toast to the Negroni, guests were invited up to begin pouring ingredients into the barrel.
